Self Adhesive Class 0 Foam

Many of our products including our Fireseal foam range come with the choice of a self-adhesive backing solution. This makes it easy for you to mount your class 0 acoustic foam to your surface of choice, without needing to source your own adhesive solution. This all-in-one product is especially useful for projects where time and practicality are of the essence such as shop fitting projects, construction work and many other types of installations.

Guide to Using Self Adhesive Class 0 Foam

Using our self adhesive Class 0 foam is simple. All you need to is carefully remove the release liner (backing paper) and firmly place your tiles, panels or sheets onto your surface of choice. Our products come equipped with a strong adhesive but be sure to apply enough pressure to allow the glue to properly tack to your required surface.

For optimal adhesion, surfaces should be dry and dust free when placing your acoustic foam products. If using a chemical solution to clean your surface we would recommend that you first test this product to ensure that it does not affect the adhesive capabilities of the product.

For an effective bond, ideally areas should be well ventilated with a relative humidity of approximately 40 – 60% (the lower the humidity, the better). Optimal room temperatures are around 18°C – 20°C.
