Scrim foam (headlining material) is a fabric-backed foam product that is often used in vehicle trimming. Vehicles such as cars, boats, coaches and more can all benefit from the professional finish that headliner material brings.
Scrim foam can be used as an underlay fabric for softening seats and other hard interior areas such as panels, door cards, sides and roofs. It can be sewed or glued to a top fabric of leather, suede, vinyl or any other vehicle upholstery material.
Scrim foam can also be used on rigid upholstered pieces to help soften them.
This headlining material is a flame retardant, halogen-free product. The backing material is a fine weave fabric which makes it easy to sew during upholstery.

We stock scrim foam headlining material in either a 3 mm, 6 mm or 12 mm thickness. You can select your preference via the dropdown menu above.
All rolls are 1500 mm (150 cm) wide and 1 meter in length. Add additional rolls for extra length.
Our scrim foam is in compliance with FMVSS 302 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No: 302).
